Age 

Our thriller opening is aimed to an audience of 18-35 year olds with a certificate 15, we have chosen this because of the nature of the thriller opening and what happens within the first two minutes. 

Another reason for this is that the actors that will be participating in the filming are all in the late teens so therefore be more relatable to the audience.

We feel it would not be appropriate for the younger viewers because :-

• Murder scenes 

• Images of violence 
• Use of inappropriate themes (mental patients)

Gender
that we will be focusing on will be both male and female because making it exclusive to one gender wouldn't be the best idea as we want it to appeal to as many people as possible, as well as this we will be aiming the piece at the social class category C from Pearl and Dean

Update

Now that the piece is finished we can see that from anybodys point of view it was appropriate for us to give it this age rating, the final piece came out quite cynical and the music especially added scare and a strangeness about it
